About Devin Mathews

Devin Mathews grew up in the small town of Fielding Utah and attended Bear River High School. While he always enjoyed doing art he never considered getting serious about it. His senior year he took AP art where he put together a portfolio and tried oil painting for the first time. His second painting was a self portrait which ended up winning various awards for. It wasn't until while he was serving his LDS mission in the Philippines Naga mission that he decided to go the art route. Currently he is attending Utah State University as an Art Major and he is doing a series of temple paintings.
